1. Information Collection
We collect information you provide directly, including travel preferences, destinations, itinerary edits, and feedback. We create an anonymous account identifier when you first plan a trip. If you sign in with Google, we also receive the basic profile information Google makes available to us, such as your name and email address.
2. Use of Data
We use the collected data to: (1) Provide and maintain the Service; (2) Generate personalized itineraries based on your input; (3) Improve and optimize our AI models and user experience.
3. AI Interaction
To provide our services, your travel queries and constraints are processed by our backend and third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI). These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and do not use your data to train their models.
4. Cookies
We use secure cookies to maintain anonymous and signed-in sessions and preference settings. Refusing these cookies may prevent trip creation, saving, or account access.
5. Data Security
We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
6. Google Maps and Places
When place verification or maps are used, place search text and relevant destination context may be sent to Google. We persist Google Place IDs and verification status, but do not persist Google addresses, coordinates, ratings, opening hours, photos, or reviews. Map and route content is loaded from Google only when you open the map or explicitly search for a place.
7. Trip Privacy and Retention
New trips are private by default. Unlisted trips can be viewed by anyone who has the active sharing link, while public trips may appear in discovery and search engines. Disabling sharing invalidates the old sharing link. Archived trips remain stored in your account until a deletion feature is provided.
